Allpicts.in – Camps Bay Beach is one of South Africa’s most beloved beaches. Camps Bay Beach is the largest white sand beach in Camps Bay. This beach is a great beach for the family to relax and have fun. It does get very crowded on weekends and over holidays. There are also so many restaurants nearby that are great for coffee or lunch. The rocky outcrops of the Twelve Apostles are a bit further toward the south. The Twelve Apostles mountain range makes for a craggy backdrop. Camps Bay is one of the more accessible beaches close to the city. Camps Bay Beach is about a 15-minute drive from Cape Town city center. Get here via public buses and a hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus. If you’re coming from Cape Town, you’ve got two ways of getting here: over the side of Table Mountain, near the famous cable way, or along the coastal road past Clifton Beach.
