Amalfi Drive, also called Strada Statale 163 Amalfitana, is the main road that runs along the Amalfi Coast. This is a high-resolution picture of this road, one of the most scenic coastal drives in Italy. It’s both breathtakingly beautiful and at the same time slightly terrifying. Amalfi Coast Road is roughly 50 km long and without stops or traffic, starting at Sorrento and heading south before ending at Vietri sul Mare, near Salerno. It takes about two hours to drive the entire length of this road.
