Tsugaike is a national park located at 1,900m in the Central Mountains National Park (Chubu Sangaku Kokuritsu Koen). It is known as the Tsugaike Shizen-en in Japanese. This national park is one of the most famous sphagnum moss sedimentary layers. Which built up over thousands to tens of thousands of years. You can enjoy several beautiful views such as Flowering Asian Skunk Cabbage (Mizubasho) blooming with the thaw in mid-June/early July. In July- August there are hundreds of alpine flora, such as Eriophorum vaginatum (tussock cottongrass) and Nikko day lily which will be in bloom.
