I love to collect long exposure nature photo, such as this gorgeous photo of Nugget Point Lighthouse in New Zealand. Long exposure photos can be created by using special technique in taking the picture. This technique also known as time-exposure photography or slow shutter photography which using a long-duration shutter speed to sharply capture the stationary elements of images while blurring, smearing, or obscuring the moving elements.
Beach, lake, river, waterfall and other water environment are popular object to create a long exposure photo. Such as this one, a beautiful view of Nugget Point with it’s lighthouse. Nugget Point is one of the most iconic landforms on the Otago coast. The lighthouse was built in 1869 and started operating on 4 July 1870. Currently, it was automated in 1989 and is computer-monitored and operated by Maritime New Zealand.
