Allpicts.in – Mai Khao Beach has the longest coastline of all of Phuket and is part of the Sirinat National Park. Dozens of airplanes roar low over Mai Khao Beach every day. Mai Khao Beach is a lot less visited compared to Phuket’s popular beaches. There are days that it seems like there is nobody on the beach. It feels nice having a beach all to yourself. There is no road so you will not be disturbed by noisy traffic and although you are only a few kilometers from the airport, you cannot hear the aircraft.

There is a lot of vegetation here, the water is fine for swimming during the dry season from November to May. This beach is recommended for relaxing, walking on the sand, or combing the beach for shells. Relax in a deckchair with only the sound of the ocean waves. Take a leisurely stroll along the beach where you will be able to walk for hours and hardly see anyone else.
