The first day is known as Holika Dahan or Chhoti Holi. At the first day, the participant doing a Holika Bonfire, where people gather, do religious rituals in front of the bonfire, and pray that their internal evil should be destroyed as the bonfire. The second day is Rangwali Holi, Dhuleti, Dhulandi or Dhulivandan. At the second day in the morning, the participants celebrate Rangwali Holi or carnival of colours. Participants play, chase and colour each other with colored powder and water. They also carrying water guns and coloured water-filled balloons.
