I would like to share with you one of the rarest butterflies in the world. This is the Banded Peacock butterfly, a fast flyer butterfly that is found in several South Asia countries such as India, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan. It gets its name based on the color of black and green on its wing bands. This color combination also can be found on peacocks. This photo has been captured using a macro lens.
