This is a high-resolution picture of the Akame Shijuhachi Waterfall. Akame Shijuhachi Waterfall is one of the most favorite places if you would like to get a breath of fresh air outside of the big city in Japan. The waterfall was great and people call it Akame 48 Waterfalls, a series of waterfalls, both graceful and spectacular. The area was chosen as one of the best 100 forests in Japan and one of the best 100 waterfalls in the country. The Akame 48 waterfalls are the habitats of the salamander, which is a special and protected species. The name Akame – the Red eyes – was derived from a mythical folk tale about a legendary man named En no Ozunu, who while meditating in front of the waterfalls.
